Format problem on entry

P: n/a
I have a database for my time sheets adapted from the Access templates
provided with the program. This has recently developed a strange glitch
when entering new records.

The date field has a mask to limit the format of the entry to dd/mm/yy. I
was entering some data and it was working correctly then unexpectedly
changed to record in a different format - 18/05/04, 18 May 2004, suddenly
appeared as 5/4/18 and I can do nothing to change it. Subsequent entries at
a later date now enter correctly but I still can't go back and correct the
previous incorrect entries.

This is not the first time that the program appears to work unpredictably.
Has anyone else experienced similar unexpected behaviour?

Hi Mike,

Check your Regional Settings under the Control Panel to see if they've been
changed to English (United States).
