user permissions using VBA

Hi,

I'm trying to use the example in the Security FAQ to change a user's
permissions for a form by logging on a "security-enhanced" workspace.

The thing is that I want to do that AFTER the form has been opened
(all these problems crop up due to not thinking of security while
designing the database!). If I run the code and go to
Tools-->Security, indeed the updated permissions are displayed.
Apparently though the form doesn't recheck if the permissions have
been changed. Is there a way to make the form to do that? Is there a
"permissions refresh" option?

Thank you in advance

Laertes
