MS Access data going to Excel question

I have an ms access database and thank goodness for the memo fields.
Importing into access is nice because of this.

But what about Excel. This may be a bit off topic. but if you have a field
in a text file that is much larger than 250, will this be a problem for
excel?

I have somebody who will take my ms access export and open in Excel. Many
memo fields.

Thanks in advance
