Automatic update in form field

Hi,
I'm creating a form based on a table. This table has fields including
UniqueID (auto numbered and different for each entry), Track (3
different types), ClassYear (4 different years), and ModuleID.
Now this form takes in info from some fields (eg. track, gradyear),
and automatically updates others (i.e. ID and ModuleID). But I need to
find a way to update the ModuleID a certain way. Here's the deal.
There are many types of students. Those in track 1 in their second
year, those in track 2 in their first year, those in track 2 in their
second year... etc, etc. The ID field gives each entry (no matter
track or classyear) a unique ID, but for the ModuleID I only want
unique ID's with in a certain group. So for Track 1/Year 1 students
there will be module ID's 1,2,3,4... And for Track 1/Year 2 students
there will also be module ID's 1,2,3,4... but every entry has a
different UniqueID.

Example

UniqueID Track Year ModuleID
1 1 1 1
2 1 1 2
3 1 1 3
4 1 2 1
5 1 2 2
6 2 2 1
Now how do i get the ModuleID field to update automatically when
entering the data in the form. I did it using queries and an update
button, but it was really inefficient and was running like 4 different
queries each time you wanted to make one entry, which cant be good. So
I was wondering if there is some code that would make this possible.

Thank you so much.
