Audit Trail

I'm looking for an simple bit of code that I can put on any field in a
form to record any changes. Not only do I need to know who changed the
field, but also what the original value was.

Is that possible?
Any examples available?

Thanks in advance.

Access does not provide this for you, but if all changes are made through
forms, you can use the events of the form to record edits, deletions and
inserts.

This worked great on the main form. Should it work on subforms, too?
I couldn't get it to work, and I don't want to make myself frustrated
trying to, if i isn't supposed to.

Thanks for all your help!

Don't tell him _that_... he will feel all important and expect us to buy him
drinks at the MVP Summit. <GRIN>

Actually we all think Allen is, at the very least, fabulous and are going to
buy him drinks, anyway!
