duplciating record

P: n/a
I remember this command was established in dBase with "set carry on", so
when you added a new record, the last record would be copied.

Is there a command that will let you duplicate the current record you are
on - in code?

Basically I need something that will copy the record, and then I can modify
a few fields in this record.

Thanks

Ctrl-' duplicates the contents of the same field in the previous record. If
you want to carry-forward all fields, in Access, you'll need to write some
code to save the values in Before or AfterUpdate and then copy them to the
empty Controls in a new Record in the Current event.
