current record with conditional formatting

Hey Folks

I seem to be asking millions of questions. Truth is, I just discovered this
awesome research and having been typing by myself for years the questions
are all coming out.

Here is another favourite:

Can you highlight the current record using conditional formatting.

I saw one solution to this problem by counting all the lines. However, I
need something that does not slow down the application. Conditional
formatting would be perfect if there was a function like CURREC() that was
true if the record was the current record and false if this was not the
case.

Create a hidden control bound to the primary key field if you don't already
have one. Now create an unbound, hidden control called something like
txtCurrentKey. In the form's Current event handler, copy the value from the
bound control to the new unbound control. Now, where the 2 values are equal,
that's the current row.
