combo box conversion problem

Hi folks.

I am using Access 97. I have a form, frmHistory, which has 2 combo
boxes (cboSelectTitle and cboSelectName) and 2 text boxes (Title and
MemName). When the form is opened, it displays all the (dummy) history
of books borrowed by members. Both the combo boxes uses macros, with
the following actions.

cboSelectTitle:
OpenForm: Form Name: frmHistory
Where: [Title]=[Forms]![frmHistory]![cboSelectTitle]

cboSelectName:
OpenForm: Form Name: frmHistory
Where: [MemName]=[Forms]![frmHistory]![cboSelectName]

What it does is that the user can choose a name or title from the
respective combo box and the form will be filtered to diplay records
pertaining to the user's choice. For example, if the user chooses the
name "aravind" from the combo box cboSelectName, the form (frmHistory)
will display all records where MemName = 'aravind'. The problem is
that, while this works perfectly in Access 97, it doesn't seem to work
when I convert it to Access 2000, i.e. when I choose "aravind", it
diplays aravind's records, but when I then choose "frankie", it still
displays aravind's records. So what went wrong? Also, the combo boxes
uses a macro action (SendKeys: Keystrokes: %{Down}), which makes the
combo box displays its contents when it gets focus. The thing is,
should I assign it to the OnGotFocus event or the OnEnter event? What
is the difference between the 2? Thank you.
