NEed to duplicate a record in Access using SQL or maybe not

I am trying to loop through a database and if a keyfield exists in another
table, I need to duplicate it.
What do you recommend?

I assume I need to link the two based on the key field (fields will be
unique) and return only matching records, but then how do I duplicate each
record in same database for returned or matching records.

Thanks in advance
