Filtering A Query

EI
Hello..

Using Access 2000

I have a table with the following fields:

DataId (Extension ID)
DataDesc (Description of Extension)

I created a Query based on those two fields.

I use the Query as a Lookup for other table where I need to select a
Data Port Id (on the same table I have 5 fields that uses the same
Query)

Everything works fine but I want to do this:

Let's say I have the values:

ExtId ExtDesc
1234 1234 Description
4321 4321 Description

Once I select the 1234 Id on first field when I move to the second
field that uses the same query, I don't want to see "1234" id because
I already selected it.

The same if I created a new record. I don't want to see values I
already selected.

I'd really appreciate any help.

Thank.

This could be done using comboboxes on a form. You would modify the Row
Source of the next combobox in the line to exclude the value of the
preceding combobox(es). An example for doing this can be found here.
