mde slower then mdb

Hi there,

I have compiled my front-end database from mdb to an mde file. The mde
database is incredible slow compare to the accepable speed of the mdb
database. Does anyone have some suggestions? Thanks in advance

Decompiling it would speed things up. I would read up on this area before
you rush into it though and of course work on a backup copy of the original
file.

If there is a huge difference in speed, it is probably a factor such as:
- Name AutCorrect,
- SubDatasheets, or
- Caching of the connect property.

or perhaps you have disabled Virus scanning for MDB's, but
not for MDE's ?? Or is it one particular query that is slower ??
