Print Access Record from Word Doc.

I would like to print a report (or reports) from Access based on the
Word document I have open. For instance, the Word doc I have open is
called 10-789-65.doc. From Word, I would like to open Access, and
print the reports for all records with 10-789-65 as the part number.
I've never ventured into Access from Word only the other way around.
Anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks,

Bill

Bill,

You do it with Mail Merge from Word. When you create your source document, you
base it on an Access query where you can set the criteria of part number to
10-789-65.

You say you have experience with Word from Access. Why not do it that way since
you have the experience? The other way requires programming in Word VBA which
you apparently are not familiar with.
