Error Deleting record

I keep getting the following message when trying to delete a single record
from the table.

"Search key was not found in any record"

The record I'm trying to delete has errors in it and when the cursor is
moved over the record the "invalid Argument" error message pops up.
Any ideas on how to delete this record.
Access 2000 and Win 98SE system
TIA

Chris, if the record cannot be deleted, the table will need to be recreated
without that record.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I'm just a newbie to Access and
didn't realize the repair function existed. I used it and am now able to
correct the errors in the record that was giving me problems.

Thanks again
Chris Taylor
