How can I import an Excel 97 spread sheet to Access 2.0?
I'm new to Access.

A2K reads Excel 97 files just fine.

I should have added that I get "incompatible format" when importing.

Open the spreadsheet in Excel and save it as a
Microsoft Excel 4.0 Worksheet, or Tab delimited or CSV.

Or, if you are actually using Access 2K rather than Access 2.0,
just open the spreadsheet in Excel and save it again as an
Excel Spreadsheet. Not all the spreadsheets that Excel opens
are actually in Excel Format: Access will not read XLS files
if they were saved in BIF format.
