the name of the Form....

Ray
I have a main form with four subforms.

Let's imagine that the subforms are named Form1, Form2, Form3 and
Form4.

From any of the subforms I would like to doubleclick to open another
form "frmGuests" in which I would like to enter then name of the form
Form1 or Form2 etc as the default in a field in a subform
"frmReservation" of the newly opened form. Can anyone tell me if this
is possible?

Thanks

(air code)
In the sub form)
Sub Form_DblClick()
' check which parameter is Openargs, the tooltip will tell ya.
DoCmd.OpenForm "frmGuests",,,,,,me.name
End Sub

In frmGuests
Sub Form_BeforeInsert(Cancel As Integer)
Me!MyFormNameField = Me.OpenArgs
End Sub
