Locating Source Locations For Linked Tables In Access?

Hi Access masters,

Sorry for asking a very simple question, but how
could I locate source tables which have been linked
into the Access database? The following is an ASCII-
based screen shot:

| +-----------------------------------------------
| | Table | Query | Form | Report | Macro | Module
| + +---------------------------------------
| | -> Customer <--These tables are link
| | -> Dealer <--tables. How could I locate
| | -> Contract <--there source locations?

I'm at work right now and have no access to my library
at home. Any information is highly appreciated.

Examine the Connect property of the TableDef.

In the Immediate Windows (Ctrl+G), enter:
? dbEngine(0)(0).TableDefs("Customer").Connect

You can also set the Connect property to reassign the source to a different
folder, but remember to RefreshLink

Hi Allen,

Thanks for your quick reply on my question.

Indeed one of the tables was linked to another table
through the network. Without checking this stuff out,
it could have been a disaster before actually doing
anything to the database.

Whew, I was luck to have your advice; otherwise, I
could have been forced to update the database without
knowing the source tables!
