Running Access 2003

Can I run Access 2003 and Access 2000 on the same machine without any
problems?
TIA

Yes. I have 4 versions running on my machine now, from 97 to 2003. Make sure
you

a) install the earlier one first, and
b) install each to a different folder - don't use the default folder
suggested by the installer

Thanks John. Another question would I need to buy the full version of 2003
or can I buy the upgrade and run both versions?

I'm not sure about that Tony. Whether or not the 2003 upgrade will
automatically rip out the previous version I just don't know. However, even
if it didn't, you would likely be in violation of the upgrade licensing
agreement. I have no problem with that of course - that's an issue between
you and MS :) - just want to let you know.

Thanks John the reason I ask about this is that I've been asked to look at a
database that's been written in 2003 and I can't open it with 2000??? I get
the usual message about newer version and upgrade

I should think there would be no licensing issues if you have a full
retail version of O2K and simply A2003.
