Type mismatch

Hello all,
the code below gives me a "Type mismatch" err message on the last line.
Can anybody help me with this?
(Microsoft DAO 3.6 object library is referenced)

Many thanks!
Ronny

Dim dbsMybase As Database
Dim rst As Recordset

Set dbsMybase = OpenDatabase("\\Mypath\MyFile_be.mdb")
Set rst = dbsMybase.OpenRecordset("tblDhscmails", dbOpenDynaset)

The ADO library also has a Recordset object.
Be specific about which type you want:
Dim rst As DAO.Recordset
