How to allow user to select records and modify field

How to allow users to select a set of records and then let them change a
field for all these records at once?
I would like to do this in code on a form.
I will have a form with tabular view of records, and I guess they will
select more than one record with the SHIFT key, then they can modify a whole
bunch of records at once.

Thanks

If the users are knowledgeable on Access, allow them to create update
queries. Otherwise, you'll have code a form that does the same thing..

Add a field called Selected to your table. Create two side-by-side multiselect
listboxes like the wizards use for selecting fields. Display all the records in
your table in the left listbox. The rowsource for the left listbox should have a
criteria of False for Selected. Use code so that as you select records in the
left listbox Selected for those records will become True. The rowsource for the
Right listbox should have a criteria of True for Selected. If you requery both
listboxes after each selection, the record will move from the left listbox to
the right listbox. Once you have made all your selections, use an update query
to bulk change the field in all records where Selected is True.
