hi.. question - Microsoft Access / VBA

is it possible to make a custom bar in access like the one i outlook on the
left side where you chose like Outlook today, Inbox, Calendar and so on..?!

You can achieve a passable emulation with an option group and toggle
buttons. Position the option group frame on the left hand side of the form
with the toggle buttons vertically aligned. Set the special effect property
to sunken and give the frame a dark backcolor. Set images for each of the
toggle buttons and put labels with captions beneath each one. (A nice touch
is to set each labels specialeffect property to sunken in code when the
respective toggle is pressed). Then place a tab control on the form to take
up the remainder of the form area. Set the style to none and the backstyle
to transparent. Use one page in the tab control for each toggle button in
the option group. Use the frame's AfterUpdate event to move to the correct
page of the tab control.
