Can Grow/Can Shrink

Access2000

I have a subform control on a main form (it's the only control on the form
except for a Close button on the bottom). The subform control contains a
contonuous form. I set the Can Grow and Can Shrink properties of the subform
control to Yes but no matter what height I set the control to it stays just at
that when I open the main form. What do I need do to get the control to
Grow/Shrink?

Thank you!

Those properties for form controls don't do anything unless the form is
printed. They have no effect when the form is viewed on screen.
