Distibute an application to many users -- Replication? MDE?

Danke

I have Access 97 and the tabels are linked to an SQL-server. Is is possible
to make an replication (a copy) and distribute this to the users and not
make it possible for the users to do any changes on forms, reports etc. I
cant make an .mde when I use it this way.

Michael Kaplan has stated you do *NOT* want to use replication for distributing FE
objects. Just tables and records.

I specifically created the Auto FE Updater utility so that I could make changes to
the FE MDE as often as I wanted and be quite confident that the next time someone
went to run the app that it would pull in the latest version. For more info on the
errors or the Auto FE Updater utility see the free Auto FE Updater utility at

to date.
