field types

hi there everyone

when using for example
..Fields.Append .CreateField("GeoType", dbText, 30)

does anyone know where to get a list of the possible field types?
the only ones I know of are dbText, dbLong

Open a code window.
Press F2 to open the Object Browser.
Choose the DAO library, and search for DataTypeEnum.

In the Access 2003 help file, the constants are also listed under
CreateField.

For translating the value back to English (the Access field type name), see
the FieldTypeNams() function at:
