File - Get External Data - Import - Text Type - Advanced - Specs PROBLEM

File - Get External Data - Import - Text Type - Advanced - Specs PROBLEM

Can anyone assist me with a problem ?

When attempting to specify an import specification using ;

File - Get External Data - Import - Text Type - Advanced - Specs

Is it possible to specify a Spec layout, save it and then - at a later
point - amend the Spec ?

If anyone could assist, I would be very grateful.

Kind regards,

Michael

Yes - and it looks like you're heading in the right direction already.
Perhaps you should just take a copy of your database and spend a couple of
minutes getting some hands-on experience with these. I am sure that will be
more useful than a newsgroup reply. If you get stuck on any particular
aspect then try the help files, Google search and if no luck - then post
back.
