Subform Record Pointer Resetting on Requery

Hi,

I had an issue today & yesterday that I had a very difficult time
solving and wasn't able to find the solution searching usenet via
google. In the spirit of giving back here is how I solved it.

I have a form with a datasheet subform that is linked by an ID.
the parent form has an OnActivate event that does Me![Subform].Requery
and when that fired the record pointer was being reset to teh first
record in the subform. It would be fired when I clicked a button that
opens a new form and then closed the new form to go back to the
original form.

The solution was to set OrderByOn to false in the parent form
properties in the Visual Basic Editor. I hopes this helps someone
down the line.

Good luck,

Billy
