looking for online zipcode database and program

P: n/a
I am looking for an online zip code program / database, that will aloo me at
a minimum to be able to type in a zip code, a distance (5mile, 10miles,
50miles, etc) and have the process return back all zipcodes within the
specified distance of the supplied zipcode. Any help or assistance will be
appreciated.

Patrick,
It isn't free, but the CD based Microsoft MapPoint will do this. It's part
of the Office Suite so it can be included in VBA projects and accessed from
code. http://mappoint.msn.com is the .NET implementation of the same thing.
The CD-based application is $299.00 list for a current version but you
should be able to find Map Point 2002 used for a lot less.

Patrick,
http://www.usps.com. They are offering their address & zip code database as
a web-service. You would include it in your project, then. Should work
fine as long as you pay their fee and have an Internet connection.
