Import Wizard Puzzle....

Hi,

I'm running Access 2000 and trying to import a txt file with a number
of fields relating to numerous dates. The data itself is quite
straightforward.

The problem I am encountering is if when I'm flagging the import
wizard not to create a "primary key" then the data is not displayed on
the datasheet when the wizard finishes. The datasheet displays the
correct amount of rows as if the data had populated but there is no
data held in the fields, the column names are created but no other
data is seen.

If I flag the wizard to create a primary key then the data is imported
and displayed with no problems!

has anyone seen this before?
thanks in advance

Bryan
