Building a report

I am trying to create a certain report that is a school report for
students and I select their courses in the detail section but I cannot
order them the way I want to and also I want to build in a field that
is an average grade over 3 courses. the courses they follow have to be
in a specific space on the report so they can have their combined
grade bahind it. ms access just displays the courses in descending
order and I cant figure out how I can put them in the order I want to.

If you can't find any other way to do it you can add an extra field and
manually assign a value to it. You don't have to print it.
