time based message box question

P: n/a
Is it possible to use a msgbox function in conjunction with a timer or
counter? What I am trying to do is setup a single interface panel (a
keypad) for a timeclock. Since no mouse will be used, I am wanting any
promting and verification feedback to the user to be timed...the message box
pops up for 3-5 seconds, then closes itself. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Mark Valk

The trick is going to be to get the "message box" to close itself. What you
will actually need to do is make a form yourself, designing it to look like
a message box. You can then open this form in the Timer event and close it
again when you're ready.
