Sympathy for Starwars :(

(Sigh) I have sympathy for Starwars, Don, Jesness, MrT, and all the other
schizophrenic sides of his mind...

As for CDMA contributors, I have been and will be one probably for a long
time, but I just have to say this one thing and that will be it... no more
from me on this subj.

Starwars,

Your small fingers must hurt to have typed all that you have. You have
posted under so many names and so many persona's, yet earn cint("0") respect
for
any of it. It's actually a miracle that you haven't jumped off a cliff or
something, which is what I find most interesting. It is kind of obvious
that if you lack the social skills you display on the web, that you are
fairly dysfunctional in life as well. I do feel sorry for you and for
whatever brought you to that level.

Not that you will gain from this, but being smart and witty is only half of
the requirement to succeed at anything, including gay-bashing, racism, and
all those other little sensitive things that you have fun with. The other
half, well, you need to work on that part or take your fate and check out.
In case you are curious, the other half has to do with applying
conversation in a positive manner in which produces a win-win for the
subject, and those who post within. Much like paying taxes and being a
"contributing member of society", which is the only way the human race and
America is really going to succeed. I know that's a lot to grasp, I will
give you some time to think about that.

I understand that you somewhat thrive on negative emotional feedback. As
someone pointed out before, it really is something that science could
benefit from studying. Just think, if science could pinpoint the chemical
that keeps you going in a negative environment... it could make the
depressed people feel good to be depressed? If more people were not
depressed because of the medication you provided to society, you might find
the world a better place to live in! Hey, I think I am making real progress
here! A great way for you to be a contributing member of society and make
some $$. What a deal!

In your battle to work David over, you fail to gain any respect for your
efforts in CDMA. No secret there... but what about other places?

You also fail to gain any respect here...

Oh my god... the list actually goes on forever...and it gets increasingly
more obvious why everyone in the other newsgroups defines you posts the same
way
that members of CDMA do. In a unbelievable way, the words people use to
describe
you is exactly the same between the completely different groups to which you
post. Your persona is a "work of art" to science. Kind of like finding a
new kind of mucus on a foreign planet... if you need references to prove
you are a study for science, be sure to tell them to check here! We will be
glad to give them the go ahead.

Also,

Thanks for all the nice things you are about to say to me.

:)

Have a nice day.

I think we all misunderstand starwars. It is not a person. It is the
Skynet that didn't get that last crucial chip from the Terminator and
went off the deep end.

I am sure I am like a lot of people, in that I don't have the exeprtise
to really contribute, but I pick up a lot of great Access knowledge and
techniques from just reading the posts. For that, I woudl like to thank
all of the many contributors for their help, even though they arer
unaware how useful it has been - if i have a problem, trawling the old
posts normally gets me resolutiom.

On the troll/Mellon thing, I personally find it quite amusing. It adds a
bit of light relief to an otherwise harsh working day. How I would feel
if it were I getting the abuse, I don't know (please don't start abusing
me, I don't really want to find out).

But lets face it, no-one takes Don P Mellon or his many aliases
mud-slinging at face value, and I can't see anyonee actually believing
the content of many of the posts.

I genuinely find it fairly interesting, both trying to identify the Many
Faces Of Mellon as early possible, and reading just how twisted the
arguments can get.

Mellon, you are a funny man at times, don't waste it on outright abuse.

Anyway, back to my reading the posts again.

See ya,

Ok, so I can't resist to reply... ban me or something...

First of all, only Don P. Mellon would have it out this bad for Larry. He
is the dad you despised and can call names at without getting the shit
slapped out of you.
Your uncanny gift for insight into ye ol' psyche should take a stab
at that other loner freak who lives by himself, Larry Linson. We await
your examination. When you talk to him, ask him why he doesn't go by his given name, Laurin ----> hint, hint <------> touchy spot.
William = Bill
Lauren = Larry (or close enough ok)
Starry = Starwars (couldn't resist)
Don = Starry

Some people call me "Jerr" but certainly nobody makes a stink about it.

Sure, I will pitch a shot for them... can't say I've been analyzing their
mental condition like I have yours though... so things may be a little
rough. Here goes...

Larry:
My first analysis of Larry is that he is a product of years of employment
(or contractual) where he didn't really ever reach the top, otherwise he
would most likely have better things to do than to work his way to the top
of this group. With a strong fascination for computers and databases he
took his experience and turned it into something rather good and useful, and
I must say it is a complete shame that he doesn't make nice profits from his
time here - as with other very helpful contributors. In doing so he has
helped countless 1000's, and I grant you this... he has pissed off some
along the way -- even I at times, but that's ok... I'm a nice guy and
everyone (even I) is ignorant at times. Also, he is generally a bit
stubborn with new things, but often on top of his game with mdb's
especially. If I am even looking at a computer when I am his age, it will
be a miracle... let alone giving helpful advice to people for FREE.

People hate change because something unfamiliar takes effort. You won't
change your view to include gay people as equal and G.Bush won't change his
view to allow terrorism. Few people in this world accept changes,
especially throughout their entire life. At some point everyone says "fuck
it, I'm done changing and learning new stuff", but not Larry just yet.
Also, you don't get such a regular rise out of Larry simply because he is
not the kind of guy who looses his attention to what he wants to accomplish,
which is helping others and being on top of a technical group, and of the
group he is with in Texas. The only thing he is afraid of is that you may
drive some of the people he likes to help away.

Tony:
All Tony wants is to maintain his respect, participate in the group, and get
a break from work once and a while, and maybe even try to drum up some extra
business. You get on his nerves easier than you do on Larry's because you
stick your foot into the things he cares more about. You impersonate him,
which makes newbie's think he is you -- this really makes him angry, but he
is cool about it because he doesn't want to show explosive/non respectable
behavior. However, rest assured that he frequently takes action to hunt
your source down though... as much as his valuable time allows anyway.

In all, I think everyone really knows that you are Don. But... if you
expose your real identity, then what consequences could there be? Have you
gone too far to come back? Seems like a good reason to deny everything I
and others say when we point you out, huh?

BTW... ==> Ahhh . . . @names =. Don do do doo doo jesness melon ... <== What the heck is this?
Your ilk of pity/sympathy is really just common insult. Actually this was only a partial insult (which you kind of deserve), the
rest is really genuine.
We had hope for a minute there that you had
something worthy to say, but alas, you pine
away down some imagined trail of bread crumbs ...

No, not actually -- you chose the anoymous remailer -- not me. If you can't
take the heat generated by your own tool, then maybe you shouldn't use it.
If starwars is really used by all, then you are equal among all that use it.
Much like Daffy Duck pretending to be a rabbit during rabbit season and
getting his bill spun. If nobody can technically differentiate you from all
the other starwars posts, then nothing makes you less responsible for all of
the posts.
Here is an interesting find...
http://tinyurl.com/2yftt

You know... is it really a "complete miracle" that Don didn't respond to
#40, unless of course it was posted by Don. This pretty well links with A.
Melon and right up to you, did you know? The tone also certainly meshes
with you as well. The names A. Melon and Starwars are bosom buddies
everywhere there is anonymous activity...

And this is one of many log examples available from multiple servers...
http://www.bananasplit.info/echolot/from.html
Everywhere A. Melon is, so are you -- strange coincidence...

And so the fact that Don can NEVER... I mean NEVER... resist a comeback
really proves this out all on it's own... don't you think? And also -- what
is it with the Stats? Are you trying to build credibility? Only Don would
want to try to do this. Any other troll would have been long gone. Not to
mention that anyone can download that Perl stat app and build their own
stats. I think I would speak for everyone when I say that if you just give
up this act and come back the way you were before that people may give you a
second chance, I "for one" would. Try helping a few people like you did
once before and change back into something more interesting. It was more
fun, and now I have to read old shit to get a laugh -- this new stuff
literally sucks. Quit posting anonymously and start posting as Don again.

Oh... sure, I could be wrong on some of my finds... but even the FBI has to
narrow things down once in a while.

Nov 12 '05 #10
Actually, it doesn't matter.

He chose the alias and the alias has a history and reputation.

If he can't take the heat the tool generates, then he shouldn't use it.
Nov 12 '05 #11
> > Some people call me "Jerr" but certainly nobody makes a stink about it.
How about Jerk? No, never that -- but sometimes "J"
How 'bout some quality couch time for a price? What's your fee? Why pay for a psycho analysis when you get it here for free? Most homeless
dude's can't afford it anyway.
This is a bit unflattering. And on the money. It would be strange to most people to contribute so much, yet expect nothing
but "thanks" in return.
You don't touch on the loner aspect of Larry's life. No wife, no kids.
Lives by himself. That explains a whole lot. Well, sounds kind of like he has some time to burn. It's nice that he puts
that time into helping people.
Are you saying that all messages from remailers should be considered as just one gigantic blob of crap?
It was your mistake -- don't use a remailer that everyone has already
de-faced.
But the trouble is, YOU don't believe it. Or else you would not respond. No, actually I believed it or I wouldn't have posted the links. In fact,
here is another one that certainly links you with the havoc you cause:
http://www.goodvibes4x4.com/logs/2.4.04.asp
There are several reasons why this message is posted through a remailer, and you will never no why because it is irrelevant. Really? And to what on-topic relevance does anything you posted have?
David is totally correct elsewhere with his remark that you fight speech you don't like with more speech. The remailer is simply a tool the enforces
this principle and that is why you don't like it. I don't think a remailer enforces anything other than to let everyone know
that you have no balls to stand behind what you say.
Your argument here is hard to follow. You think "Don" posts this and that
and if that makes you feel better, then more power to you.

Hmm... well, your not denying it :)
And this is one of many log examples available from multiple servers...
http://www.bananasplit.info/echolot/from.html
Everywhere A. Melon is, so are you -- strange coincidence...

Does A. Melon show up in CDMA? Maybe. Who cares? What's your point?

That you both are in the same log files on all of the remailer systems I
looked at so far and that Don couldn't have resisted replying to the post A.
Melon made unless it was Don that made the A. Melon post.
