blinking control in report ?

Blinking control

Perhaps my question is not exactly an Access question, but may
somebody might
give me an answer.i have a very important control on my report, called
"Stockflow"
and in case the goods in the warehouse do not correspond to the
documents
i want to have some special effect, either voise, or blinking, or
anything of the kind.
My point is to draw as much attention as possible to the user that
something is wrong
I will be grateful for any suggestions in this respect. I use Access

You can certainly change the color of the control.

As I understand it, reports are pretty static -
they're created once (unlike forms, which are frequently repainted), so
I'd expect it to be difficult to create a blinking effect.

Set the BlinkPersist property to True
The blinking effect continues - even when the report is printed out on
paper.
It is really unbelievable!

Or try the SmellsLikePineForest property = true. That really gets thier
attention :)

(Sorry but to be serious no I don't think that reports can have any kind of
non-static display. If you want to draw attention try printing absolutely
everything in blackand white besides this information which you could
consider printing in highlighter yellow or something similar)

No, not at all--but how do you turn the darn thing *off* then?

The OP probably didn't even want to ask about a *report*.

Then again, how is a fact going to decide whether "the goods in the
warehouse do not correspond to the documents"?
