Have an update - installing the valupack\dataacc.exe did not resolve
the problem. Still cannot export any HTML or RTF files using Access 97
Runtime on a machine that has no Office 97 app. The installation
scripts include Mstext.dll, Msexcl35.dll and Msxbse35.dll. There are
no other problems experienced with the Runtime app. Have several
reports that can be optionally exported in the above formats.
Afterwards, if the full version of Access 97 is installed, then the
Output To action works just fine. So, what is missing? Any ideas or
suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks Dimitri, but it seems that all Jet dll's are being installed
and registered. Apparently, I'm overlooking one (ISAM)? Do you have a
file name?

After installing an Access 97 Runtime DB on a clean drive, could not
perform any OutputTo of HTML or RTF. The error message displayed was:
Optional Output To Method - The formats that enable you to output data
as rtf, html are missing or incorrectly registered in Windows
Registry.
Presumingly, missing is a dll, ocx and/or registry entries to enable
this function. Does anyone know which ones need to be included to
effect the OuputTo? Thanks for your time.
You need to register Jet text ISAM driver and let Access know about it:
