Hi
Two forms
frmMain and frmCustomer
I have the NotInList DblClick working from the CustomerID COMBO in the
frmMain to the point where i can enter a new record in the frmCustomer
and the new record is updated in the frmCustomer but i cant get it to
update in the CustomerID combobox until i close and reopen the
frmMain.
I have added Me![CustomerID].Requery and various other attempts

any ideas

Try resetting the RowSource of the combo. Use the frmCustomer's
AfterInsert event. Something like...

Dim strSrce As String

strSrce = Forms!frmMain!cboCustomer.RowSource
Forms!frmMain!cboCustomer.RowSource = ""
Forms!frmMain!cboCustomer.RowSource = strSrce

Resetting it will automatically requery it.
