Well , it generate all the records instead of the records in the
subform. i thought it would but then it wouldn't.
DoCmd.OpenReport "custorder", acViewPreview, "[job_order]=
Forms!main!Overdue_sub.Form!Jobid

Then couldn't you filter for the Primary Key from the main form?
DoCmd.OpenReport "MyReport","MyPrimaryKey=" & Me!txtMyPrimaryKey
or something along those lines...
