How to setup/change the permission ?

P: n/a
meh
Somehow everyone got admin rights right now and I want to change it so
everyone should be able to read only and only 2 people should be able to
make changes.

I dont know where to start. Under tools/security, I dont see my name or any
other employee's name.

How can I change existing users right ?

Thanks

You have no hope of doing this properly, by messing around under
tools/security. For example, have you created a new, secured workgroup
information file? If not, you have already omitted a critical step in the
process :-)

Locate, download & study the "Access Security FAQ" (or some other, similar
document). Follow every step in that document *to the letter*, in precisely
the sequence given, adding & omitting nothing. Experiment on some "throw
away" databases, before you even think of starting on the real one(s).

Access security is very capable, but also fairly complicated. Mst people
will need *at least a few weeks* of reading & experimenting, to have any
real hope of getting it right.
