Save Files On Floppy to Harddisk

P: n/a
How can I read the file names on a floppy disk, add the prefix 03-04 and save
the file to a specific folder on the harddrive?

Thank You!

Try something like the following untested aircode:

Dim strFile As String

strFile = Dir$("A:\*.*")
Do While Len(strFile) > 0
FileCopy "A:\" & strFile, "C:\MyFolder\03-04" & strFile
strFile = Dir$
Loop

Yes,

Example:
Dim strFileName As String
strFileName=Dir("A:\*.mdb")
Do Until strFileName = ""
FileCopy "a:\" & strFileName, "c:\test\03-04" & strFileName
strFileName = Dir
Loop

There is no error checking here for not being able to write the file. This
would occur if you were out of disk space, the file already existed, or you
didn't have permissions for the destination directory.
