2000 mde with xp

Hi

Will 2k mde run on access xp? Problem is that I need to send an access 2k
database to a remote client and I obviously need to turn it into mde before
sending it.

Thanks

Regards

yes, you can run a a2000 mde with a2002 (xp).

Of course, you can only create a a2002 mde with a a2002 mdb file (ie: is in
a2002 format).

So, a2002 can read, and even edit the a2000 mdb files (in fact, a2002 uses
the a2000 format by default). However, a2002 can NOT create a a2000 mde.

However, it will execute the a2000 mde without trouble.
