Problems with browse to files using an API call

Help me,

I'm just beginning with programming in Access 2000. I've tried the
http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0001.htm but it won't work in
Access. What am i doing wrong.

I don't have problems with the
http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0002.htm but it only browse to
folders.

Can somebody help me by a simple how to do step by step or send me a
*mdb file with a working version.

Without knowing the problem you're having, it's pretty much impossible for
anyone to say what you're doing wrong, as many of us have used that code
successfully in Access.

Thanx for your fast reaction. I'm working with a Dutch version of
Access so i hope that my translation is ok.

So what did i do
I made a tabel with a 'id'(autonumber) field and a 'file' (hyperlink)
field.
I created a form with the wizard method
In the form I made a button (name = browse, see bottom) and placed the
code as shown below.

How do i get the result (if it's working) placed in the 'file'
(hyperlink) field

Thanx for your Help.

Problem is solved and it's working. The only problem left is that the
textfield (hyperlink = yes) where the result is placed is not opening
the file when clicked on it.
