How terminate objects cleanly when access close ?

P: n/a
Hello,

I'm working on an access application, at the opening of the application I
create some objects (in order to do this I use the AutoExec action). I
want to be sure that these objects are cleanly terminated when access
close.

Is there a way to do that ?

When you open the database, also open a form in hidden mode (this form will
be open all the time) and in its Close Event you can terminate your objects.

By the way, it can also be desirable to make sure all other forms and reports
are closed before cleaning up objects they depend upon. When Access closes,
these objects are close in FIFO order, so your hidden form will get the Unload
and Close events before other objects. You can get these other objects closed
by looping through the Forms and Reports collections closing all except
itself.
