undo icon on menu bar not accessible from a dialog form - why ?

P: n/a
form A has a command button that opens form B in dialog mode
DoCmd.openForm "frmProductPrice", acNormal, , , acFormEdit,
acDialog,
productId

form B is a tabular form with 3 'required' fields

I can enter data in the three fields and save them - no problem

Once I dirty a record in the dialog form, I get the little 'pencil' in
my indicator and the undo icon (back curl arrow) on the menu bar is
enabled

but clicking on this undo icon doesn't undo the dirty record, like it
does with a normal form

if I open with 'acWindowNormal' the undo icon works as expected

am I missing something to make undo work with a dialog form ? or do I
just need to create a commandButton to deal with it ?

If I remember correctly, if the dialog form is also a Popup form, the Access
menus and command bars will not be accessible. Try making sure the Popup
property of the form is No, and see if that helps.
