Subreports

P: n/a
I recently converted an access 97 database to 02 and I have a report
with subreports. The problem is now all the subreports show up as
scroll bars. What can I do to change this? Why did it do this? The
report works. However, I can't see the subs to make changes or
format.

Thanks

Yes, Microsoft probably thought it would be helpful to have in-place editing
of subreports in design view. However, as you found they don't fit and the
editing is generally impractical.

Close the main report.
In the Database windows, select the subreport and open it in Design view as
you did before.

Allen,
For alignment purposes in the main report is there anyway to get rid of
the scroll bars and just have the boxes like in 97.

Thanks,

There is a solution called TSISubforminator at
http://www.trigeminal.com/lang/1033/...asp?ItemID=5#5

Another solution:
You open the subform in designview first.
Then when your open your mainform (while the sub is open) you will also see the 'boxes' like in A97.

Hope this helps
