Simple text file creation

P: n/a
Using an access form, how would I create button that makes a text file named
"HelloWorld.txt" and the new text file when created has the contents "Hello
World!"

I have old databases in Paradox that I wrote code to create elaborate web
pages, and I want to move them to Access, but it is going to be a slow
process, and this is where I have to start.

Thanks,
Kevin

Export your Paradox data to a dBase file or textfile. Access can import either
of these file formats.

From on-line help
Dim I, FileName
For I = 1 To 3 ' Loop 3 times.
FileName = "TEST" & I ' Create file name.
Open FileName For Output As #I ' Open file.
Print #I, "This is a test." ' Write string to file.
Next I
Close ' Close all 3 open files.

Look for Open, Close, Print #, Write, Put, Get, Read, Freefile in help
