Access Run Time: Alternative Version

Hello everyone

I just found at the adress below Microsoft Access Run Time. It says
that this is Access Run Time :Alternative Version.
There is nothing about who can download or install this version.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en

It can be downloaded. I downloaded and install it and it works just
fine.

Can anyone tell me if it is OK to distribute this "Alternative
Version" to those that do not have full Microsoft Access installed on
their system or point them to this web site to download for
themselves.

Thank you
Any thoughts on this subject will be greatly appreciated.

They didn't do a good job of saying so "on that particular page", but
elsewhere on MS site it clearly indicates that the download is intended for
people who had previously purchased Office 2000 Developer and wanted a
runtime with a smaller footprint. I wish I had a link to that particular
page, but it was posted in one of these groups not too long ago.

Bottom line is that there appears to be nothing preventing you from
distributing it or at least pointing other people to the download link, but
it would be a violation of the EULA from what I have read.
