Display of Menu bar while access is starting

P: n/a
I developed a database using microsoft Acces97. I chose to hide the
menubar so that people could only use limited features like opening
forms and reports. I am however now experiencing problems when I want
to access the full menu bar. When I hold down the shift key on
opening, the menubar does not show up. Could it be becuase I am now
running the database under Ms access 2000?

Last I checked, hiding a menu or toolbar (or maybe just the built-in ones)
hides them until you actually unhide it. I ususally do this as part of a
Quit proceedure.
