DHL or FedEx Track Links in SendObject Body For outlook?

P: n/a
I want to insert DHL and FedEx tracking links with the waybill numbers in
the body of emails I am sending using sendobject. I am not sending
attachments. DHL and FedEx use long links that truncate in plain text
format.

How do I send an html formatted body in sendobject?

Or does DHL and FedEx have a shorter link?

Thanks.

You need to use a different method of sending emails which supports html. A third
party control or possibly using Outlook along with Stephen Lebans work with an HTML
editor. http://www.lebans.com/htmleditor.htm

The problem is that the parameter for email clients to read an email in HTML is
embedded within the header lines. And the only control you have with SendObject is
in the parameters. And HTML isn't one of those.

Hi.

Would a different method be to create 1 page access report in html format
and use sendobject to send it as an attachmet?
I see how you can 'manualy' save a report as html so one should be able to
automate that?

Thanks

I tried that. Try it yourself. All you are going to see is the raw HTML. Because
the flag that tells the your email client to process the email as HTML is in the
header. To which you can touch using SendObject.

You can try Worldcast. It is free for non-commercial use, and should allow you to handle
the HTML formatted message:
