Something to be said for a moderated newsgroup

What has happened in this newsgroup? Talk about disfunctional!!

Is it still ok if I talk about databases?

I have a database in a folder in a web on a server. I use FrontPage2000 to
develop the web.
I just want to verify that I am able to launch the database from the
FrontPage folders view (I know I can do this much), modify tables through a
user friendly Access2000 form (I can do this too), and when I close out the
database the database on the server it will reflect what i am attempting to
do (HERE is where I am having the problem.) Everything looks like it is
going well, but when I close out the database, the database on the server
frequently seems unaffected - I say frequently, because sometimes it is
modified (and I don't know what, if anything, I did differently!). I have
noticed also that Frontpage locks up when I am working with the databases.
Any thoughts?

Thanks!
~Bruce
