Adding Data To Tables Via A Form

I havent done any Access database design since doing A-Levels at
college, that was 5 to 6 years ago. Now i have to design one for work
and I have hit problems.

Basically my database has a number of linked tables which extracts
data from an SQL Database. I then perform a number of queries to cut
out all the information i dont need using make table queries. In these
tables it stores items such as Site ID, Site Name, Person responsible
for that area, etc.

I have then created a table which basically logs all drive surveys
that we have completed. In here it stores items such as Site ID,
Driver Name, Some Dates and Faults Found. This table is then linked to
the table which has all the site id's.

On the form i have created i want to update the drive survey table,
but when i input the site id, i want it to populate the site name, and
person responsible for that area although these wont be stored in the
drive survey table. Then i want to be able to add the other data items
such as driver name and faults which will be saved to the drive survey
table.

I bet i have lost you now?

Anyway i have created a form but it shows nothing although i have no
data in the drive survey table yet. Hence the reason why it wont. I
have put the navigation buttons on the bottom of the form but when I
click on add record it comes up with the error of "You cant go the
specified record" "You may be at the end of a recordset".

Hence i cant add data to my table.

Could anyone help me with this? It is now driving me nuts!

Thanks in advance
