RAPI

I'm trying to copy files to my Dell Axim ... no luck. What I am reading is
that the only way to do this through code is by the RAPI. I looked at the
MS article here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;Q307256 , "HOWTO:
Copy Files to a Windows CE Device by Using RAPI from Visual Basic," but my
VB skills don't extend too much beyond what I usually need for Access - this
is way beyond me .. has anyone copied files th a Windows CE device through
Access?

I haven't tried copying to a PDA, but just a guess, Active Sync creates a
copy of the PDA's documents folder on the host computer. If you copy a file
into that folder, Active Sync should copy it to the PDA for you.

A lot of things I read said that this is what was supposed to happen
(creation of the Desktop folder)... but it didn't at work, on the Win2000
machine (security setting?) .. nor did it when I set it up at home as
'Guest' - but I keyed on your use of the word 'host', and I changed the
synch setup to 'Standard' connection at home too, and Active Sync did set up
such a folder. It does look like it may now be possible to move files via
this folder.

Thank you.
