Problem with duplicate key

P: n/a
We are using MS Access97. Now by entering a new item to the database
the problem occurs.
We are using a subform and a form, by clicking a field in the subform
the form produces an error regarding duplicate key, primary index or
relationships. I cannot find any reason for this error. Table Books is
in relation with Query Stock on Field ID.

Maybe someone has a suggestion to solve this problem?

With a little more information, someone might be able to help you. Do you
have "break on all errors" on in Options? What is the instruction on which
it stops. Which is the "one" and which is the "many" in the relationship and
on which form are each displayed? Is the record on which you are clicking a
new, empty record, or is it an existing record? What kind of Control is it?
What version of Access? What Service Release or Service Pack level? Are the
main form and subform linked by LinkMasterFields and LinkChildFields?
