Network Drives changed - affected databases

Hi there

Situration :- One of the servers disk drive is very "dodgy" - decided
to move folders for databases from 1 server to another. I hardcore
the letter of drives - as fixed - e.g. V:\ used only for databsases.
No need for me to add full path E.G. \\server\folder\.

Tested - no problems. Today, tried on my pc, databases do not work
e.g. =$error appearing in the strings in the forms.. Checked tables -
opened them - they open ok. 70% located in T:\. Ones affected are
these.

What is going on ??? Heading for a major disaster on Monday. The
network administrator, copied with same permissions from 1 server to
next.

Quick response greatly apprciated. What are my options.

Details:-
From :-
V:\Common\Database Folders
\\gwwnt02\Databases\Common\Database Folders

To:-
V:\Common\Database Folders
\\gwwnt08\Databases\Common\Database Folders

No Change :-
T:\WWL.Doc Reg_NEW\Tables\Central\Staff\Staff.mdb
\\gwwnt01\AutoCad\WWL.Doc Reg_NEW\Tables\Central\Staff.mdb

what if you delete all the linked tables and relink? Personally, I
would link using the UNC path. then you can distribute that front
end, and everyone can use it w/o manually relinking.

Hi there

Thanks for your comment.

Used your suggestion plus expanded.

Method
1.Cut links
2.Manually re-link
3.Created a empty db -import items
4.Created Secure db
5.Created a empty db - imported objects from 4 - double check to see any
corruption

Regarding UNC - I may decide to implement but have a .ini file.

Many thanks.
